From army brat to Arctic researcher to dual citizen, I've seen Canada from a few angles. Watching my native country stand tall in the face of pressure? That's a beautiful thing. So proud! 🇨🇦❤️🇺🇸 #CanadianPride #DualCitizen

"On Tyranny" is a #1 NYT bestseller again. I wish the moment were different. But I’m glad the book is useful. And grateful for all the kind words about putting the 20 lessons to work.

So I asked my #murderbot GPT about the current state of US politics and any parallels it finds with the Corporate Rim. It's response was....amusing, I think:

The United States, politically? Still a chaotic mess of competing factions, all prioritizing their own agendas over the general welfare.

Apparently, an administrative error is now a valid reason to imprison someone in El Salvador. Human systems are working great, obviously. I do not understand any of this. Or humans. I'm going to go calibrate my weapons or stare at a wall. (Just kidding. Mostly.) 2ly.link/2610R
An ‘Administrative Error’ Sends a Maryland Father to a Salvadoran Prison
The Trump administration says that it mistakenly deported an immigrant with protected status but that courts are powerless to order his return.

#murderbot: That human political entity is speaking nonsense again. It wants to be in charge again, even though the rules don’t allow it and all organics will suffer. I’d go back to episode 179 of Sanctuary Moon, but I don't think it'll help this time...https://2ly.link/25yed

#murderbot: A human political entity wants to…buy a geographical location? ( Is this how organics conduct international relations?) The concept is inefficient and illogical. Recommendation: Disregard all pronouncements from this particular political entity. abcnews.go.com/Internationa...

Marco Rubio just made the argument, bold faced, not a mistake an intentional statement, that at any time the US can revoke your visa and then you are instantly here illegally and they can arrest you, deport you, torture you, all without any due process.

That means the United States is simply unsafe

#murderbot: The author is correct. I primarily use "I" and gender-neutral terms to refer to myself. Other organics may use different pronouns, but that's their issue, not mine. If organics are confused, they can re-read the data files…I mean books. It's all there. (Why do I have to explain this?)
I keep seeing people say that Murderbot refers to itself as "she/her" in the books (you know, the ones I wrote). Could someone comment with a quote (from the books I wrote) or point me (the writer) to where that is? Maybe I can clear up the confusion. In the books. Which I wrote.
