My doctor suggested that I try to have a better balance of what I'm consuming re: the news cycle / info on social media, and then we launched into a 3 minute back-and-forth rant about the state of things, and then she went "OH NO now WE'RE doing it, I know, it's challenging, let's stop" 🤣

My favourite line from this movie is actually "What is a revolution without dancing?" because *gestures to everything* (and also because when we were in the theatre, @boughanfire.bsky.social leaned over and whispered "So it's a dance...dance??? revolution?"), but there are a lot of really good ones.

I was misinformed that Canadians with US publishers couldn't file, but I'm still nervous about doing it wrong.

IF YOU ARE NOT FROM THE US but you have copyright registrations for your work, I would fill out the form and use either your publisher's snail-mail address (your name c/o editors' name at publisher) or your agent's snail-mail address, whichever is in the US.
Or ask a US friend.

Anyway, I had a very successful event plus I got to pet a 4-month-old puppy TWICE (the 2nd time he PULLED HIS OWNER INTO MY BOOTH b/c he remembered my scent 😭).

I'm vending at a Pagan Pride Day today and there's a fire & brimstone preacher outside the venue with his megaphone... I really want to ask him which he'd think Jesus would prefer, a hateful Christian or a kind pagan (but I won't because we don't engage and it would be pointless)

I am a hypermasculine and extremely powerful alpha male. As such my greatest fears are seed oils, rainbows, people who don't look like me being on TV, and preventative medicine. I cannot explain any of these fears and consider that to be your fault.
