Just found out that the famous & iconic "Angel in the Waters" statue in Central Park NY was not only a sculpture made by a woman in the 1860s, but an out lesbian woman named Emma Stebbins.

I'm reading a book on LGBTQ History in Wales & Charlotte Cushman came up (Stebbins' wife)
