Dear toy companies, please include an extra sticker sheet for any toy that has stickers that need to be applied for clumsy parents, kids and collectors. Better make it three sticker sheets just in case.

BlueSky has become our retirement home for social media after Twitter died, Instagram was overtaken by robots and Facebook, well was just always terrible. I know a lot of friends did not join us here but to those that did, thank you. Thank you for being there when we need a laugh, hug or a friend.

This is the first year where we did not do Elf on the Shelf. Kids held on a bit longer than we thought but this year it was clear the time had passed. It’s bittersweet as it represents them getting older but ultimately its pretty great that we don’t have to remember to hide them every night.

Sure Playmates has its issues but they are one of the only toy companies still trying to make action figures that appeal to kids and adults while still being affordable. If the license is going to Mattel or Hasbro we can expect more toys pushing the $30 price range.
Playmates and Viacom will not be renewing their licensing agreement for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Their partnership will end on December 31st, 2026 - bit.ly/4axAYDu

Ornament of the day. Expensive Hallmark Disney Parks edition. Hallmark makes fantastic ornaments but the pricing is just nuts. I usually wait until after holiday mark downs to make the price a bit more reasonable.
