just remembered this scales R package function that quickly makes your large dollar amounts into human friendly units, and it takes care of those changing units from say millions to billions #RStats

agree 100% on this. polars was the main reason I waded back into learning python for day-to-day data manipulation, instead of just turning to it for specific applications (e.g. webscraping)
One of the weitd things about learning Python as an R person is that you're already pretty good at all the cool new data manipulation patterns.
