I feel like industry has been weirdly silent about all this. Is it too conspiratorial to think that a huge influx of highly skilled STEM workers driving down salaries is a welcome development for them?

If you want to run the government like a business, there's a word for that: fascism.

Sometimes I feel like the only upside to living in what's arguably the stupidest timeline is that it hopefully spells the end of both parties as we know it.

Starting to feel as if the argument that 4 month isn’t enough time for a party to effectively pull off a presidential campaign actually means 4 months isn’t enough time for the media to effectively sell a bullshit narrative that solidifies false equivalencies in the public mind.

Political movements that refer to minorities and political opponents as "un-humans" have a tendency to repress, intern, and/or kill those people if they get national power with little-to-no restrictions.

Little-to-no restrictions like Trump frequently claims, and SCOTUS recently granted him.

One of the reasons I'm kind of bullish on a "swap in Kamala" plan is precsiely because the Trump freaks are completely undisciplined and virulently racist and would be unable to help themselves from running shit like this out there, unlike the McCain and Romney teams in '08 and '12

I, too, am more bullish on Harris's chances for this reason.

When a critic goes "Biden is too old," common responses are "I agree," "yes but Trump is worse," and "shhh don't talk about it."

But if critics say things like "a colored woman can't be president," there's more objections and pushback.

There are good reasons why Biden should not be running but “he’s breaking a promise to only serve one term” is straightforwardly false.
