I feel like @samreich.bsky.social has that Adam Sandler model figured out on a smaller scale. You know, the whole "filming entertainment with his friends while sending them on vacation" bit.

This past week, the University of Kentucky canceled programs recognizing first-generation, Black, and LGBTQ+ graduates.

This decision was wrong. It wasn’t Christlike. And it doesn’t reflect Lexington’s values.

That’s why community partners have stepped up to fill the void.

I will always hear the words "Yeah whatever" in George Lowe's voice. May his memory bless us all.

Now we need to protect Andy with everything we've got...

Got my "Twin Peaks: Z to A" set yesterday and utterly OBSESSED with the full versions of the Road House performances. Particularly "No Stars" by Rebecca Del Rio.

Kind of obsessed with this moment from "Blue Velvet". I left the screening I was at feeling surprisingly positive and optimistic for my own future. Like David Lynch was telling me the robins were going to come back soon.

Watching "Wizard of Oz" and these people really singing a few whole ass verses of the "Ding Dong The Witch Is Dead" song about needing proof that she's dead or the coroner giving said proof in the next verse.

Wild. No wonder David Lynch loved this movie.

To the couple who got kicked out of the Kentucky Theater tonight for smoking weed during David Lynch's "Blue Velvet":

I'm not sure what you expected, but part of me applauds you for the audacity of it all.

I've been geeking out a lot lately on various things, and this is one. Do you have a scene or moment you want as a GIF? Now you can make it for use on social media*!

I use a scene from Twin Peaks as an example, but the techniques can be applied to just about anything moving.

Does anyone else find small moments in the media they consume, and they start honing in and disecting that scene. Really finding the little mannerisms or moments that they think are interesting or powerful?

I'm trying to write a Substack post about Twin Peaks but I just got distracted by the concept of creating a Docker that sits on my Unraid server and trims photos to 4:3 for me after I drop them in a folder.

I think I just listed at least two of my current hyper focuses in a single sentence.

Did the Animaniacs take on David Lynch in the Hulu series? I need to see that happen.

I was watching "Claymation Christmas" last night and it really hit me how the line "King, and God, and sacrifice" goes way harder than it should.
