Turns out the hotel owner was nice enough to reserve the room for her, but we owe $509.02 & there's no cheaper place for her to go. People don't like shelling out for temporary fixes, so it's been really hard to raise money. I'm at a loss.

Anyone have resources in the NE US? DMs are open.

Transcript: Azine's Story Azine travels the world to meet people dear to her. That is her reason for living, as she doesnt know how much time she has left. This goes for everyone, especially with how the world is today. Goes extra for her because of heart-lung disease from birth + a series of embolisms in 2016. Embolisms are kept at bay by medication, due to having had more than one. Dystonia and seizures, were made worse by Lyme disease (tick bite 2009). MCAS, probably from birth, is made a lot worse by environmental toxins. She takes 4 antihistamines including compounded ketotifen (expensive) in very high doses to keep her skin from peeling off & to keep limited food down. "I dont have access to health insurance, even though that is mandatory where I was born.Because people with Lyme and ME/CFS are routinely denied healthcare, persecuted, and jailed in psychiatric hospitals. That is why I became a traveler/refugee. That is why my mom, who still lives there, is deep in debt. Because there was never gov. support or funding for me, not even welfare." I've done all I can out of my own resources. We need your help. She's too sick to go anywhere, and her medical trauma is far too severe for a hospital to be an option. We need to raise about $100 a day to keep her in the hotel. Please do everything you can, up to and including badgering friends and relatives. I'm barely holding off panic.

Tumblr screenshot: my roommates car is named barff. it was originally bought from a dealership called garff, but then she tinkered with the g on the license plate thing so it looks like a b and now the car is just called barff. my wife once asked our roomate where she was parked in a group chat. but she messed up the word "parked" and instead spelled it as "garked". and then me and my roommate just started referring to parking as garking because its just really fun to give my wife shit. its just part of the professional little brother playbook. but also, at some point it stopped being ironic and we just started calling parking garking. then today me and my wife were looking out the window and we saw our roommate struggling to do a three point turn into a parking space. and as fun as it is to give my wife shit its also really fun to give our roommate shit. so we ran outside and we ran around her car while chanting GARK THE BARFF. GARK THE BARFF. GARK THE BARFF. and then she did, eventually, gark the barff. theres no moral to this its just a surreal part of my life that i really enjoy. maybe tease people more? find your barff and gark it and never ever stop?
