“Climate action” is just another way to say “we want our beautiful complex planet to continue to be a good place to live, and to continue to be both beautiful and complex”. So much climate damage comes from assuming that Earth is simple, that it is easy to control and that it will bend to our will.

If the vast vast majority of Americans want reasonable gun controls and they can't get passed by the Congress then our democracy is broken. Or to be more accurate, it has been corrupted. The consciences and reason of our DC leaders have been purchased...for a pittance. Stop the $$ to stop the guns.

We are not just going to sit around and put up with this. We are going to omit his entire second presidency and undo it all. As soon as we're able to get all this corruption out of the government and start over. It's bullshit. We have so much technology, so many resources. We can do better.

We thought the Supreme Court would protect us from Trump's worst abuses. Instead it has facilitated them. The SC has allowed Trump to ignore the Constitution and do whatever he wants with no restraints. They don't even pretend to enforce the rule of law.
