I love people. I'm old, have three kids and a grandson. The progress we have made since the new deal, the great society, the civil rights movement, and the women's movement are being eroded. We are stronger when we come together and fight for progress.

Fluoride has been in the water since 1945. Teenager from 1973 till 1979.
The fact was we were neither toothless nor stupid.
Listening to DeSantis and the rest of the loons, who drank fluoride water all their lives, makes me laugh.

I was impressed by Mark Carney’s clarity, resolve, decorum and professionalism.

He didn’t back down. He didn’t escalate.
He wasn’t belligerent.
He made strident points.
He was the adult in the room.

I am embarrassed as an American. I am pleased for Canada.

Even *if* you accept Stephen Miller’s (textually, historically, and morally indefensible) claim that undocumented immigrants are not entitled to due process, you’d *still* need due process to ensure that the individuals at issue are, in fact, undocumented.

His argument fails even on its own terms.

Donald Trump is not well.
Not physically.
Not mentally.
And it’s time for the media to start talking about it.

Target made its choice—and so have Black consumers.

The National Black Church Initiative isn’t playing PR games. No more performative marketing while treating Black communities like disposable income streams.

I have nothing to do with this org, but it is telling.

Every citizen in the USA should be obliged to read or watch

The Handmaid's Tale.

Now.

Oh. Damn it. It's already banned in parts of the USA.

When a book becomes alive. Too quick.

It seems it's already too late for a rising. But I do hope I am wrong.

How are things going with respect to the discovery before Judge Xinis in Abrego García?

Well, the government describes as a “false premise” that it “has been ordered to facilitate Abrego García’s release.”

(That’s *literally* what #SCOTUS held.)
