Today there isn’t a single city in the US where a full-time minimum-wage worker can afford a two-bedroom apartment.
Since 1985, rents have outpaced income gains by 325%.
An astounding 12.1 million low-income tenants are now "severely cost burdened," spending at least half their earnings on rent.
