ICE and CBP's unconscionable violence know no bounds. When federal agents dare to point a gun at a pregnant woman, it's evident that they do not respect our lives and well-being.

Despicable! They must be held accountable. We must defund ICE. Their terror must end.
ICE points gun at pregnant mother—a U.S. citizen with her son in the back seat.

"Are you gonna shoot a pregnant woman?" she cries. "You just put a gun on me!"

"Then he had the balls to say, 'It’s your fault I did that.'"

Video clearly shows her just driving down public street in Berwyn, Illinois.

NEW: There’s a disaster unfolding in Alaska right now. And no major network is covering it.

The remnants of Typhoon Halong battered western Alaska overnight. Homes, with people in them, have literally been swept into the Bering Strait.

At least 20 are missing. No comment from any federal agency.

I'm at the scene where ICE abducted multiple people from Lincoln and Foster this morning.

A WGN producer was among the people taken, allegedly because she was among a group of bystanders who tried to intervene. ICE agents hit this car while making their getaway.

And we're still doing it! Follow us for performing arts put into context.
Something I loved when I moved to Chicago in my mid-20s: the Reader critics would put your work in the context of what was around it and what preceded it. Doing some Lanford Wilson play? Jack Helbig and the others would put it the context of previous productions.
This creates a challenge: If the only people reviewing the new Hamlet are people who compare it to 12 other Hamlets, that's not really a help to a young person who wants to know if they should spend hard-earned money to see Hamlet. They don't care that it's your sixth favorite. It's their one shot.>
