I cannot stress enough that if X gets banned in the UK, it is not an assault on Freedom of Speech - it is the consequence of a platform that has allowed the mass creation of non-consensual sexual imagery of women and children which, in the UK is illegal.

Given everything that has happened on Twitter/X in the last 2 years it is astonishing that the govt hasn’t even reviewed its use of the platform
Oh, this is good: Lib Dem peer @markpackuk.bsky.social asked the Government "whether they have considered creating a Gov.uk account on Bluesky, and if so, when that consideration took place, and what the outcome was."

The answer reveals that Govt use of X hasn't been reviewed since April 2023...
