The name "Popular Science" doesn't mean we shift our coverage depending on public opinion. It means we cover relevant subjects that are rigorously researched, reliable, and grounded in reality.

And trans lives are grounded in reality.

We see y'all. No matter what.

Ninety-four percent of participants in a new study stood firm in their trans identity after five years, and "detransitioning" is rare.

Rapture, flow state ... it's an experience, a thing (a conversation, a matter tangible, ad infinitum, and whatnot...).

"ai" isn't that for me

🧵 Creative process is a conversation with the world--a dynamic relationship, sometimes a struggle, always a surprise.

AI is flim-flam and plaster ham.
"ai" art is done from the perspective that art is about having a vision and executing it with no interest in the process and incidentals that lend the art the texture it gets by being part of a world; it is on conversation with nothing, it is devoid of context

the tree. i only have the ghost of a tree this year.
Day 11 of the #HooklandChristmasTree. We pull out Oswald, the ghost dodo ornament. Aunt Mod bought it a few years back when she visited Weychester University. Oreleton College are very proud of having England's only phantom dodo, but his extinction haunts their December feasting.
