When (or if) the U.S. ever comes out of the era of Trumpism, we clearly need to codify much of what we’ve considered “norms”, completely overhaul campaign finance laws, and end Citizen’s United.

You cannot argue with people who think this way. Offers up her abortion rights and those of her daughter to Trump on a platter, but maybe someone should explain to her that there hasn't been a draft in more than 50 years and no one is going to send her son anywhere.

Federal employment is way too low, while we’re at it.
In the USA nuclear weapons complex, for example, the lack of federal employees contributes to oversight issues, cost overrun, etc.
Contractors don’t do a great job self-monitoring it turns out & despite decades of this we continue.

I find it interesting that Musk's D.O.G.E. just rolled out a plan that includes a proposal to defund NASA. Who would stand to gain from that? His company, SpaceX.
