I would probably be more concerned if I had, hypothetically, paid £200m for attackers and was 12th in npxG after three matches (two at home), or hypothetically again, third bottom after three when I’d played Burnley and Bournemouth. Oh, and all with largely full strength attacks. Hypothetically.
Arsenal have the 4th highest total xG in the league. Not ideal to be second bottom for open play xG but we are three matches into the season and weirdness happens. If it’s still that way after week 8-10, I’ll lead the freak out
