We remember today those who died in the 8964 massacre & we remember our friends, who can no longer comemorate publicly.

An emotional story that is repeated many times each year when bodies are found, but this one is unique because of the background of this Chinese American soldier with birthright citizenship who was found in a mass grave in Germany.
In 1944, Sgt. Yuen Hop was shot down over Europe & killed by German SS soldiers on the way to a POW camp.
80 years later, his 94-year old sister Margery Hop Wong finally got a chance to say goodbye after his remains were recovered from a mass grave & identified.
