Many, many years ago I had a suede man bag that matched my loafers. My then wife to be hated it. Shortly after we moved in together it disappeared….

Our new washing machine plays Schubert to herald a completed cycle. I miss the beep to be honest
I don't want my appliances to be connected to the internet. I don't want them to have blinky lights or touch screen controls or be accessible by phone. All I want is for them to do the one thing they are supposed to do, and to beep less.

Hear that, manufacturers? Less beeping.

I had a pair just like these when I was about 10. My mum got them from the Marshall Ward catalogue. I thought I was the cat’s pajamas 😍

As a retailer of herbal tea I can confirm this is very much a thing 🍵
There are so many huge things to fear and discuss that I've found myself taking refuge in minor complaints, like "I can't find the precise kind of herbal tea that I want," or "These tomatoes are slightly too fibrous." There's something so satisfying about a minor gripe.

So sad to hear about Tony Slattery rip. As my Dad used to say, they’re taking them from my shelf now ☹️

Every now and then you see a little pinprick of light piercing the gloom of politics. I wish @jessphillipsmp.bsky.social love, light and every success
VD: “As a result of some of Elon Musk’s tweets, the threat to you has gone up?”

JP: “Yes...”

@vicderbyshire.bsky.social speaks to Jess Phillips about Elon Musk’s attacks about her response to grooming gangs in the UK, adding his comments are “endangering” her.
