It is important to promise, now, that whatever Trump builds at the White House will be torn down as soon as he leaves.

I get that the news cycle is packed right now, but I just heard from a colleague at the Smithsonian that this is fully a GIANT SQUID BEING EATEN BY A SPERM WHALE and it’s possibly the first ever confirmed video according to a friend at NOAA

So happy to be retired right now.
BLS's U.S. monthly jobs reports are the most-important economic data releases in the world

They influence investors', employers', & govts' allocation of trillions of $ in capital & payroll

Suppressing them'd be like gouging our eyes out, harder to understand what's happening & worsening decisions
ANTONI: “.. Until it is corrected, the BLS should suspend issuing the monthly job reports but keep publishing the more accurate, though less timely, quarterly data.”

I was a kid at the time. I’d no idea why it had happened but was old enough to know that these guys were stuck in space and it was really bad. We were glued to the TV.

no, it did not. the so-called 'Golden Cross' is by definition a lagging indicator of 2 moving averages of the stock price, and possesses no predictive power.

the fact that the underlying stock price went up was a function of fundamental micro and macro factors, and nothing else. fixed it for you:
Alphabet $GOOGL forms a Golden Cross for the first time since May 2023 🚨 The last one sent prices soaring 96% over the next 23 months 📈🥳

$1 spent on health care is not just $1 of benefits delivered. It’s also $1 of income to an industry that is labor intensive and leveraged. This is going to have significant impacts on employment and aggregate output.
Update: Latest estimate confirms between Medicaid cuts and ACA rollback, total health care cuts in the Republican budget bill are now OVER $1 trillion.
Unbelievable. Latest update from the nonpartisan budget office says the Senate Republican bill now cuts nearly $1 TRILLION from Medicaid.

Yep.
I just really need everybody to understand that everything that’s happening in and to the global economy now (and all the businesses and people in it) is the entirely predictable result of the intentional decisions of one guy who doesn’t understand how the global economy works.

This.
Even if you support tariffs, it is completely insane and self-defeating to have tariff rates & exemptions changing almost daily on presidential whim. Business investment is paralyzed, as are consumers. No revenue will be raised. This is why tariffs should be set by legislation. Wake up Congress.
