Outgoing RSL President Greg Melick needs to appreciate that it is Defence leadership, as much as Govt, that have WASTED tens of billions on failed projects (e.g. $4B to NOT buy French subs) and who proposed/support opulent risky projects such as #AUKUS subs. 1/2 #auspol

Interesting to note that Australians in rural and remote areas believe that “Government” does not represent them (no “faith” in Govt)
Also interesting to note that out of the last 3 decades 2 1/2 have been a LNP Govt where the majority of rural seats were held by the Nationals
