Nothing special really
Neighbor moved in about a year ago. Their kid starting to practice drums about 8 months ago and it's been 8 months of slowly learning and playing the same beat over and over. No problem there glad they're learning something. They added a cowbell today. Not a fan anymore

you often see partisan political cheerleading compared to sports, but most sports fans i've met usually have some opinions about the tactics of their favorite team, or are even willing to criticize the management when they make bad calls. political cheerleaders are less sophisticated than that

When you're in a Sublime cover band you actually DO have to practice Santeria.

Finished Indiana Jones and the Great Circle and really enjoyed it. Definitely made me want to rewatch all the movies again

Finally finished Veilguard. I think my order of Dragon Age games goes:

Origins
Inquisition
Veilguard
DA2
Veilguard was good but boy did it start dragging towards the end. I wanted it to be over and still had about 6-8 hours to go. Very interesting post credits though. Onto Indiana Jones

I wrote an American studies paper about Bacon’s rebellion in college and used this quote from Under Siege in it. My professor circled it on paper and wrote “YES!!!” then used it as an example in class.
I didn’t read shit.

Saw a man get stopped in the TSA line as he had several 2 liters of 7UP in his carryon. When security told him about the liquid restrictions, instead of pouring them out, he opted to chug them one at a time. The whole line was cheering him on. He said it was his first time flying

Been playing Dragon Age Veilguard and Black Ops 6 and damn those are two control schemes that take a little getting used to when I switch from one to the other. Veilguard has been pretty fun so far and BO6 campaign is maybe the best one I've played since the MW series

Never felt like writing about on the other place cuz of bots and toxicity but I finished Star Wars Outlaws a week or two ago. Liked it but didn't love it. Felt like they didn't do enough with the open world and the combat was just okay. Sabacc on the other hand fucking RULES
