Bionic Man. Fighting for justice and democracy! Trump and Elon are Fembots! They can suck it. #BlueCrew
A little about my point of view. Raised in a red town/district. Registered Republican at 18 years old. Grew up with racism all around me. I was racist myself(I’m sure to a degree). I didn’t start “cringing” at racism until college.

Thanks to the Supreme Court for requiring “meaningful notice” without defining it - allowing Trump to interpret it however he wants.
Last night multiple people detained at the Bluebonnet ICE detention center in Texas were handed sheets of paper IN ENGLISH and told by ICE officers that they were required to sign the paper (even if they only spoke Spanish).

These were reportedly "Alien Enemies Act" notices.

If I were a senator, @democrats.senate.gov I would be ON A PLANE to either Bluebonnet in Abilene or Harlingen NOW where Trump is about to send more people to CECOT under the Alien Enemies Act with no meaningful due process.
Dear senators who think you can’t do anything,

Today, Senator Van Hollen - through diplomatic pressure - got a meeting with Abrego Garcia in El Salvador. So that thing you’re thinking about doing? DO IT.

We cancel research and education grants, then spend money on this:
U.S. immigration detention is a profit-driven enterprise. Private corporations like GEO Group and CoreCivic receive billions in federal contracts, earning daily revenue per detainee. The more migrants detained, the greater the profit—turning human suffering into a business model.

This is easily the worst first 100 days of any administration ever. Just a complete and total failure by all objective metrics. What a disaster.
Marco Rubio is now acknowledging that it might not be possible for Trump to end Russia's war on Ukraine (Trump promised to end it before he took office!)

Notably, in his media availability in El Salvador, @vanhollen.senate.gov truthfully keeps saying that Abrego Garcia was "illegally abducted" and "disappeared" instead of the more antiseptic, and factually incorrect, "deported."

Loyalty tests. We talked about this when he made Manafort give polling data to the Kremlin.
Donald Trump nominated Pete Hegseth, Tulsi Gabbard and Kash Patel because he wants to show Republicans that he is the boss. That he can strip them of their dignity by making them support terrible nominees.

Senate Republicans may be in the majority, but Trump controls them. That is the story.
