It's truly wild to me that my eye doctor can take a picture of the inside of my eyeball and see evidence of a scar on my retina, most likely from when I fell as a toddler and needed stitches on my skin.

California voters (myself among them) vote yes to counteract other states' gerrymandering. Of note, Prop 50 only lasts through 2030, when we'll go back to non-partisan districts based on new census data.

Volunteer shift at the St Barnabas Thrift Shop today turned up this gem of a stained glass wreath. The soldering is failing, but I remembered on of my neighbors does stained glass, so he's gonna help me fix it.
