Never apologize! I look forward to your insights.
Why do I post so much? Some of you have asked me this. I write and post every day because the stakes are so damn high. But mostly, I post every day because I believe in you. Some thoughts... https://robertreich.substack.com/p/why-i-post-so-damn-often
Why I post so damn often
And a humble apology

All of the free world should shun tRump.
It's a funny old world, when King Charles could go from figurehead to making a genuinely high-impact political intervention. I'd like that for him

I won't say what I think should have happened with that overly long red tie.

What can you do now?
In light of Trump II’s first 18 days of mayhem — including his and Musk’s coup against our system of government — many are asking: “What can I do now?”

Here’s a revised and expanded list, in rough order of importance.

Musk must be stopped.
We just published a 3,000 word feature on Elon Musk's incursion into the federal government.

Get your cameras rolling. We must have a record of this madness.

Love it!
Just RT’d this over at the Bad Place and it was like shaking a jar of red ants. #fun
Elon musk isn’t elected.

He’s a Nazi nepo baby who breaks everything he touches.

And right now he’s locked himself in a room with grandpa’s Social Security check.

For those folks who still have to work. How about some more paid days off?

Vacations are so common in France that whenever someone is away for a while, my French toddler naturally assumes it’s for “vacances.”

Here, workers are entitled to 25 days of paid vacation per yr—a stark contrast to the US, where the lack of a federal vacation law makes time off feel like a luxury.

This is why the #BlueTsunami2024 must roll through the House and Senate.
GE boasted $7B in profit in 2023. So it must have paid a lot in federal income taxes, right?

If you guessed $1, you’d still be high.

In fact, GE got a *refund* of $423 million.

This is why we need the Biden-Harris administration's proposed 15% minimum tax on corporate profits.

Wow! Truth is stranger than fiction.
The CEO-to-worker pay ratio at S&P 500 companies was 268-to-1 last year.

That means it would take workers more than five career lifetimes to make what CEOs make in a single year.

When I say the system is rigged, this is what I mean.
