I'm curious as to what this will look like in practice. Though I hope it's not a step back, I fear it will be one.

I really hope that everyone who insisted that clearly Arsenal continuing to play TP5 and offering him a new contract was evidence of his innocence takes a hard look at your assumptions and thinks differently if/when this happens again with a professional athlete. I also hope Arsenal learn a lesson.

I’m seeing a strange narrative percolating that Arsenal are cheap and don’t pay transfer fees. That’s factually incorrect. In the past couple of seasons, Arsenal have paid for DVD, Kafaji, KCC, Nighswonger, and Lacasse. Getting players like Russo and Mariona for free in addition is not being cheap.

Amanda Zaza has reported that Linkoping intend to hire Willie Kirk. That's unfortunate given the fact that he was willing to date a player he coached, a relationship that inherently has a power imbalance. Yet why is so little said about the other coaches in woso who date their players?

I actually think Vilahamn was decent (not world class, but decent) and while he was tactically inflexible, he was also let down by Spurs' recruitment. Spurs need to either fix that or hire a manager who is good at making do with limited funding (Matt Beard?).

Who can the Chicago Stars hire who will give them the Renee Slegers effect? I've been making a list of possibilities, from Tommy Stroot to Irene Fuhrmann to Martin Ho, but I think taking a gamble on Carm Moscato might be the right decision.
