It feels like Arsenal are several years overdue for a full rebuild, like the men’s team went through. Do you see one happening anytime soon?

I agree in terms of not signing a player permanently as a backup, but Arsenal might consider trying to sign a cb on loan in January if they can't permanently sign the player they want then. Otherwise, if Leah suffers a setback, Arsenal might need to play Katie M or Taylor as a cb.

For years it's seemed that Arsenal have about 12-15 players that the manager (Jonas and then Renee) thought were starting level and then the rest of the squad was there to make numbers. Is a mass clearout needed of the "there to make numbers" players so we can have a squad the manager trusts?

I think Alessia/Stina is a good combination to end games, but not as good a combination to start. In retrospect (for the United game), and looking forward (for future games against similar teams), what lineup do you think should be tried instead? Or do you want those two to start together again?

After week 1, have your thoughts on the four games simultaneously on Sky at noon UK time on Sunday experiment changed at all? And how wedded do you think Sky are to this idea? Might they change the time slots if it’s unpopular?

Do you think Katie Reid deserves to keep starting? She’s not that much taller than Lotte, and I’m not sure whether Lotte was dropped due to height (Leah wouldn’t have been and she’s shorter) or due to KR outperforming in training.

You implied on the other platform that Pelova, Fox, and van Domselaar are also in contract extension negotiations with Arsenal. Any hints you can provide on how those are going?

Obviously better strength and conditioning at a young age will be good, but is it enough? Male players like Raheem Sterling had that, and Sterling seemed washed before he turned 30. You can also look at players like Aaron Ramsey and Jack Wilshere.

I'm a big fan of Lessi, and I think she brings a lot in addition to goal scoring. I just wonder if she can increase her goal count as well.

Lessi co-won the WSL golden boot last season, but she only scored 12 league goals. That's the fewest goals to win the golden boot in almost a decade, and in more games than the WSL had then (she also tied with Bunny, who played 7 fewer games). Do you think she can replicate the golden boot in 25/26?

Next summer, Beth and Caitlin look likely to both be out of contract and both will be 30 (Caitlin close to 31). Is now the right time to consider replacing one of them if the right offer comes? If not, do you expect Arsenal to extend one or both of them next summer?

Nick Cushing left Man City women in 2020 (mid-season while they were competing for the title, by the way) and Bunny Shaw joined in 2021. I'm pretty sure he never coached her.
