I was overly optimistic. The price of gas dropped ~15¢/litre on Tuesday. It was back up again by today (I didn’t see any prices yesterday, so….)

Well this is very bad.
SCOOP: DOGE notified the Institute of Museum and Library Sciences (IMLS) today that the entire staff is being put on administrative leave effective immediately, I’ve learned from an agency source.

They’ll be cancelling huge swaths of grants/contracts and starting a Reduction in Force (RIF).

Smith’s comeback to 51st state quips isn’t “elbows up” or “not for sale.”
She tells conservative crowd they simply won’t want milllions more progressive voters.

"Data doesn't lie"?

It's amazing how much the same people who mocked pre-eminent scientists during COVID are now blindly following a ketamine-fueled hustler and the teenage DOGE dorks.
Johnson: "Elon's cracked the code. He's now inside these agencies. He's created these algorithms that are constantly crawling through the data & as he told me in his office, data doesn't lie. We're gonna be able to get the information. We're gonna be able to transform the way federal govt works."

Trump‘s government is geopolitically aligned with the Kremlin.
Witkoff: "The war didn't need to happen. It was provoked. It doesn't necessarily mean it was provoked by the Russians. There were all kinds of conversations back then about Ukraine joining NATO. That didn't need to happen. It basically became a threat to the Russians."

Thank you to the great country of Canada. Stay strong!
My reflection on the 3rd anniversary of the invasion of Ukraine.
Trump has revealed himself as a Kremlin stooge.
27% of Canadians now believe we have an enemy regime on our border.
Canadians and Ukrainians are tied together, closer than ever.

I know several people who have cancelled U.S. vacations and that's just a small sampling. Almost everyone I know is refusing to travel to the States.

Proud of you all ❤️
Don't spend another dollar in America. Across the country people are cancelling long-planned trips.
I just heard from a Canadian travel agent who is telling her customers she won't book trips to the United States.
