This is performative. You can’t even support the democratic nominee of NYC who is running on actually bringing down the high cost of living many of your own voters face. This man is representative of everything wrong with Dems. All talk no action cause they still have to kiss the feet of their donor
The cost of living in America under reckless Republican policies is way too high.

You deserve better.

I want to congratulate leading Democrats’ for their insistence on saying the takeover of DC is a “stunt” or a “distraction.”

It’s a rare trifecta of intellectual failure, political stupidity, and moral obtuseness.

This is an obvious point, but cannot overstated. There is an enormous difference between deporting someone - where they get off a plane as a free citizen in their home country AND FUNNELING THEM INTO A BRUTAL PRISON FROM WHICH THEY HAVE NO CHANCE OF EVER EMERGING!!!

This should be the move going forward. It’s clear current democratic leadership is unable or unwilling to actually defend democracy. And it’s time we get them out of office and actually elect people who are champions for the everyday American and not someone who sells out the American people.
Rep. Glenn Ivey suggested Chuck Schumer step down as top Democrat in the Senate over his handling of government funding

He is the first Democratic member of Congress to come out and say so publicly

I’m so tired of hearing Rubio & other rightwingers now claiming that if you’re on a green card you’re a ‘guest’ in this country. BS. You’re a lawful permanent resident. The clue is in the name. If someone is a permanent resident in your home, are they the same as the guests who come and go? Come on.

AOC was right.

It's probably the right time for a lot of people to start entering the fray and running establishment Dems out of office.

It’s time to abandon the Democratic Party. They are not serious about protecting democracy. It’s time to find an alternative and start building from the ground up

It may not be cool or hip in some circles, but we legitimately do need a massive amount of people to run for office.

Flood the school boards, councils, county seats, state legislatures, Congress, etc.

Big changes at the top happen when the ground shifts at the bottom. And that can start now.

Senator Andy Kim just went to the USAID building, talked to the security guard there to confirm employees are being barred entry, and then did a press gaggle right there in front to call it out.

This is doing something. This is making an effort on messaging. Other Democratic lawmakers: take notes.
