The US let the seeds of this fester for so long. This kind of expansion is what I wrote ONE LONG NIGHT to try to stop, but even thoughtful people had a hard time imagining what could happen. Someone from the Obama administration I interviewed a decade ago just sent me this article.

He was restrained within seconds, held down until police came to arrest him.

I just left the Everglades Immigrant Interment Camp. No, I’m not using their ridiculous name. It was a very tough to witness humans in those cages. Every Floridian should be ashamed that our taxpayer money is being used for this.

Just sit with this for a moment. Israel perpetrated what is certainly the largest single mass killing of trans people in history. And it's basically a footnote in an article in the NYT covered weeks after it happened.
Israel bombed an Evin, an Iranian prison that housed dissidents and political prisoners. They ended up destroying the trans wing and murdering over 100 trans people incarcerated there, many for simply being queer in Iran.
This is unspeakable evil.

Non-Violence is not pacifist. The intention is to expose the violence of the oppressor in contrast, direct actions are not pacifism, but confrontation. Don’t get these things confused when you hear calls to remain non-violent. It’s a well honed tactic, which, reveals state violence, effectively.
