Kevin Gausman threw his splitter 25 times today and got *one* whiff. In his last start he threw the splitter 34 times and got two whiffs. I'd be really nervous to start him in fantasy right now

Another solid start from Tylor Megill where he was able to locate his new slider pretty well and paired it with some good sinkers and high fastballs. Kinda digging what I'm seeing so far

Obviously the move is just outfield depth, but it's worth noting that Ramón Laureano did get progressively better at the plate over the year last year (especially from a power perspective) and he had a .305/.343/.526 line against lefties, so ya know why not🤷

Anyone who believes professional sports are rigged from the top down is dumb.
Someone seriously needs to explain to me why the “NFL is favoring the Chiefs” or even sillier “fixing games for the Chiefs”. Don’t they understand that the NFL would prefer a BIG MEDIA MARKET TEAM in the Super Bowl???more eyes=more $$.

Castillo took a step back last year that worries me, specifically with his FB. Velo was down to 95.6, a career-low, ICR jumped to 43.6%, CSW dropped to 28.9%, extension remains awful (5.3 ft)
