Couple of green cars from today's trip to Marlborough.

I hate the black wheels on the Cayman but the colour is fabulous.

And in stark contrast, old money Lexus IS200, appropriately driven by a spritely lady of advanced years. One for you @talesofanalfa.bsky.social

Is @crackedwindscreen.bsky.social OK? Suddenly occurred to me that I haven't seen any of his exasperation for days...

Beautiful sunrise this morning.

Just amazing how fucking useless the Labour party (which has a MASSIVE majority, in case you needed reminding) is at politics. Spineless. Pointless. And gifting power to the fascists.

Twats.

Adam nailing it once again.
If I never hear "Sweet Caroline" again it'll be too bloody soon...

Genius. Particularly amused by "fans of Amyl and the Sniffers" and (for many fine members of this parish) "women who drive manual"

Well, I promised. So here I am delivering.

That requires an E32 and yes you can bet that when I get to 735 it'll be another E32!

Lovely 944S2 cruising along the M4 earlier.

Really must get one of these one day.

(Thanks to child #2 for taking the photo while I was driving)

Absolutely bananas from Audi here. Lunacy really.
TIL that the TFSI 40/55/60/etc numbers on recent Audis actually mean something, they refer to avg g-force during 0-100km/h acceleration.

e.g. a "TFSI 35" Audi will average 0.35g of acceleration from 0-100km/h, hence TFSI 35

Cleaned the Thema again tonight.

I literally have blisters from chammy wringing.
October 31, 2025 at 6:47 PM
Clean.

Pointlessly so, on the basis that I am taking it somewhere tomorrow and it's going to rain, because of course it is.

But for now... it's very clean.

Superb thread.
JD Vance claims that diversity weakens unions, as people end up distrusting each other and not organizing.

Let me tell you two menswear stories related to this claim. 🧵

Lovely.
Yay. Priceless. The right column at the right time. And a gleefully English two fingers to the haters.

Could this be a metaphor for something?

Perhaps even a portent?

Or maybe it's just a completely knackered Niva decomposing on someone's drive, somewhere in North Wales.

I spent a highly invigorating 45 mins driving around in the Fairthorpe this afternoon. It does not enjoy bad road surfaces and the gearbox isn't always the easiest, but god this thing is fun. Hard work definitely but so much fun.

Pic taken at the vets as I had to get tablets for the dog.

A really timely and interesting article.

We're fucked, obvs. But it's interesting nonetheless.

Magnificent car from a magnificent owner.

Frankly, I don't know why you haven't bought it already.

Seriously. Get some.
The time has come. Ruby is for sale.

I’ve spent more than £5k getting her back on the road and in tip-top condition.

Last on the road in the UK. 77k miles. 12 months MOT. Everything has been done.

Sensible offers between £2k-3k.

See what HubNut thought of it below.

Wandered over to Bristol this evening with @chrisfm52e.bsky.social to see one of my musical heroes, Glenn Hughes. 74 years old and his voice is genuinely still as good as it was 50 years ago. Absolutely superb. I had a tear in my eye when he finished with Burn.

I may have said this before, but Courtney Love's vocal performance on Violet is just fucking brilliant.
