Couple of green cars from today's trip to Marlborough.

I hate the black wheels on the Cayman but the colour is fabulous.

And in stark contrast, old money Lexus IS200, appropriately driven by a spritely lady of advanced years. One for you @talesofanalfa.bsky.social

Love it BUT what is this?

Beautiful sunrise this morning.

Just amazing how fucking useless the Labour party (which has a MASSIVE majority, in case you needed reminding) is at politics. Spineless. Pointless. And gifting power to the fascists.

Twats.

Might have to swap to a different brand at that point...

Well, I promised. So here I am delivering.

I have only one thing to say to you about forgetting the 750i...
November 10, 2025 at 2:37 PM
730 followers!

That requires an E32 and yes you can bet that when I get to 735 it'll be another E32!

Lovely 944S2 cruising along the M4 earlier.

Really must get one of these one day.

(Thanks to child #2 for taking the photo while I was driving)

Clean.

Pointlessly so, on the basis that I am taking it somewhere tomorrow and it's going to rain, because of course it is.

But for now... it's very clean.

Could this be a metaphor for something?

Perhaps even a portent?

Or maybe it's just a completely knackered Niva decomposing on someone's drive, somewhere in North Wales.

I spent a highly invigorating 45 mins driving around in the Fairthorpe this afternoon. It does not enjoy bad road surfaces and the gearbox isn't always the easiest, but god this thing is fun. Hard work definitely but so much fun.

Pic taken at the vets as I had to get tablets for the dog.

Wandered over to Bristol this evening with @chrisfm52e.bsky.social to see one of my musical heroes, Glenn Hughes. 74 years old and his voice is genuinely still as good as it was 50 years ago. Absolutely superb. I had a tear in my eye when he finished with Burn.

I should now be out mowing the lawn but Frazzle has other ideas

See?

Took the Thema out for a leg stretch earlier. Only picture I took was this.

Very much the car's natural habitat, in fairness.

Just a casually parked E34 today in Berks.

While I usually agree wholeheartedly with you, Ant, I can't in all conscience do so this time.

The original is the best.

Storm Amy didn't quite stop all automotive spotting while up in Scotland at the weekend.

Magnificent early Legacy estate in Acharacle, a purple Vellfire and a selection of shite in Fort William (GTE SE6, Reliant Fox camper and an Omega) and an Alfa specifically for @talesofanalfa.bsky.social

A challenging weekend in Scotland. Arrived in Acharacle Thursday afternoon, Storm Amy hit on Friday, power and phone connections both went out Friday evening. Went out Saturday morning: what a mess.

Not quite the weekend we were aiming for but we managed with candles, Scotch pies, beer and whisky.

Had my first drive in Mrs J's new ID3 just now. Lovely. Super smooth, very comfortable, quiet, loads of instant torque, handles neatly, brake regen works brilliantly.

Not an enthusiast's car, obvs, but as transport: fantastic.

I honestly don't get why people are so down on EVs.

I think we can definitely call the Fairthorpe front mid-engined.

This thing is so much fun. It's an absolute animal. Took it out twice today and now i'm completely drained...

Pullitzer level. I love the fact he's included a little TLDR moment here too...

Couldn't agree more. They seem like pastiches of what a proper 911 should be, designed for people who just want to be seen to be spending huge money on something they likely won't drive.

For me the Sports Purpose 911 is the best type of restomod. True to the original, but comprehensively developed.

Got bored, went for a drive, took the Thema, ended up at Podium Place in Newbury (exceptional decaff Cappuccino, if you're interested) and this was the only picture I took.

You'd think by now I might have mastered this social media game, but clearly not.
