Luckily, the big snow heap up here in Kitchener happens to coincide with me being way too sore to spend a bunch of time out and about. It's supposed to warm up later this week, and by then I should be feeling more limber.

I am pretty close to wiped but all I have left on my list is "nails", "shower", and "tidy up" (plus slipping my laptop/charger into my backpack). The tidying is the biggest effort by far. Hopefully I'll get a bit of gas back while doing my nails and watching dumb shit.

I will be arriving at the airport in 24 hours. I have my itinerary. I just need to finish packing and get as good a night's sleep as I can manage. Stressful time to be flying but I'm hoping for the best.

I as an adult am the same person I was as a child, but the child was not the same person as the adult. Experience grows and reshapes the self. I have had many experiences in the past year, moreso than in the preceding decade. I am that person I was a year ago, but that person was not me.

Well, this resolves at least one open question I had about the near future. (My passport is in my birth name/assigned gender, because I didn't have time to get my birth certificate updated.)

I realize now that photos don't make the difference as clear, but it is significantly more vivid blue now and the roots had gotten very grown out. I asked to take off some length so I have room to grow before it starts pooling on my shoulders

I had the Nuri spiced mackerel today; they are out of this world. These are small fish the same size as 3/5 sardines & prepared the same way. The texture is firmer, meatier, and a bit drier than pilchards, but still quite tender. Very tasty & good beginner fish.
