Keep thinking about this term "pre-digested" that Kojima used to describe art that's instantly gratifying. And how it's better when people grow to love something instead.
I've gravitated, as player and designer, toward the latter, but that term "pre-digested" is new and feels very strong.

this is true but it goes even deeper than this, it’s not that they ‘don’t care’ about their kid, it’s they don’t care about their autonomany and only view their children as property and want to control them. its why we see the modern lavender panic, fears of “kids being transed”, from the far right
One of the things that's very difficult to really take to heart about MAGA conservatives is that you can't get them on hypocrisy about their children because they really don't give a fuck about their kids

I did some figure drawing for the first time tonight!! It was really difficult, but I started getting more confident and the model was very good at expressive poses. Felt good to look around at other drawings and feel like I wasn't too far off what others could do.
