Colbert will be all right, maybe even better off. The world's his oyster and I'm sure MSNBC and Netflix will come calling. He could stand up the biggest late night YouTube channel in days. But they are just torching the Late Show, an institution, solely to appease a dictator. And that fucking sucks.

Die Bombe nicht zu bauen, war ein politische Entscheidung im Iran. Weil die Drohung mit dem Bau dienlicher war. Das ist jetzt vorbei. Sollte, wonach es aussieht, die technische Möglichkeit bestehen, dann stehen jetzt alle Zeichen auf breakout. JCPOA war nicht perfekt. Aber es war besser als all das.

Ist das jetzt nur eine Einzelfallentscheidung, wie Innenminister Dobrindt am Montagabend gesagt hat? Also nichts, was die Merz-Regierung insgesamt zum Umlenken zwingen würde? Nein. In diesem Punkt ist das Verwaltungsgericht Berlin sehr deutlich. Es ist eine Grundsatzentscheidung, was man schon daran erkennt, dass die ursprünglich zuständige Einzelrichterin den Fall „wegen grundsätzlicher Bedeutung“ an eine Kammer mit drei Mitgliedern weitergereicht hat. Auch hält sich die Entscheidungsbegründung nicht mit Details der Einzelfälle auf, sondern weist – ausführlich – ins Grundsätzliche: „Die Dublin-III-Verordnung erlaubt keine Zurückweisung ohne Durchführung des darin geregelten vollständigen Verfahrens zur Bestimmung des zuständigen Mitgliedstaats“, steht da. Und weiter: Dabei seien auch „Verfahrensrechte“ der Asylsuchenden zu beachten. Etwa das Recht auf eine persönliche Anhörung, oder spezielle Garantien für Minderjährige. Und nicht zuletzt: Selbst wenn sich herausstellt, dass ein anderer EU-Staat zuständig ist, kann Deutschland den Betroffenen dennoch nicht einfach dorthin zurückschicken. Sondern: „Erst nach dessen Zustimmung kann gemäß Artikel 26 Dublin-III-Verordnung eine Überstellungsentscheidung erfolgen, gegen die den Betroffenen das Recht auf einen Rechtsbehelf zusteht.“

Diese Geschichte bekommt meiner Meinung nach zu wenig öffentliche Aufmerksamkeit. Wenn Wikipedia für die Demokratisierung von Wissen stand, dann ist unregulierte KI in den Händen von Tech-Milliardären das genaue Gegenteil. Die gesellschaftlichen Auswirkungen könnten fatal sein.

Was Union und SPD hier übrigens umsetzen wollen, ist 1:1 die Forderung von Robert Habeck - seit 3 Jahren.

Merz war 3 Jahre dagegen, die FDP hat für ihn blockiert.

Aber was interessiert das Gerede von vor 3 Jahren...
