Just read it & it’s one of those works of art. I write enough that it takes a mountain to leave me speechless & Deniz just dropped 5 Everest’s on me. Best I can do to describe this issue is just saying thank you @denizcamp.bsky.social for letting me hear the most important thing I too often forget.

first hour is very rough but (a) i am not inclined to get too mad at a major blockbuster all but looking into the camera and saying “AI is a nuclear bomb pointed at humanity” and (b) the rest of the movie is such crackerjack cinema that it makes up for the wobbly first act. tom’s greatest stunt.
None of the complaints I've seen/read about this are necessarily invalid. But I don't care. It delivered in the ways I wanted it to and I am a little piggy for every single callback and reference that I slurped it all up. Shave 15 minutes or so from the movie and it's top tier in the series.
