Let’s be very clear about what Mamdani actually said that establishment assholes are claiming is “antisemitism”. He then went on to say he believes antisemitism targeting Jewish New Yorkers is very real and he’s working in community with us to fight it. This is a MANUFACTURED Islamophobic scandal.
Literally nothing. He refused to condemn the phrase “globalize intifada” because he said the word intifada had a lot of different meanings and he’s not going to be like Trump and criminalize language. And then he said it’s not language he’d personally use.
