While not censorship, this list can too easily become the *only* books students in school are allowed to read.

Also: TEA built the list from Cy-Fair ISD’s summer reading list, St. Mark’s (?!?), Florida, Mississippi, and Mensa. So for all the bluster about science-based reading instruction… smh.
