We’ve only gone and got ourselves nominated for the Carnegie Medal for Illustration?!

Hugest congratulations to Logan Hanning for pulling this out of the bag for their debut book, and endless thanks to all the librarians who have given Elliot this chance to shine

I (Phoenix) managed to read 11 books in September! A good mix of sci-fi and fantasy, some new authors and some...not so new! And yes, I finally read another non-fiction book!

I see pieces like this a lot, often w/ a spin of lamenting cultural degeneration, but reading is a LABOR issue, it’s declined because so many people are working overtime or two jobs & employers expect after hours work. France has Earth’s highest reading rate b/c long lunch breaks & labor protections
