Also, sprayed edges are definitely effective on paperbacks too. Review quotes are handy but you definitely don't want loads because there's just less space than a hardback!

A nice cover design obviously helps, but I'd also say the spine really matters on a paperback! Most of our paperbacks are spine out, whereas hardbacks tend to be presented cover out, so a spine that catches the eye is a biggie! I'm also partial to stepback covers on paperbacks, I think they're fun!

Idk I feel like I should do some sort of drive to try to get copies of JAMIE into Kent schools now it’s (likely) been lifted from council libraries but I don’t know where to start and I don’t have infinite copies to give away
