Now would be a good time for someone (ideally, a nonprofit) to hop in and clone all the content on the site, which they would be 100% permitted to do without even needing to ask anyone as all the content on the site is available under CC-BY-SA 3.0
TV Tropes is blocking access to the site not only if you have ad blockers on but location tracking off unless you want to subscribe to their $5 a month/$25 a year subscription plan. Even people who have turned their ad blockers off are reporting the site isn’t working. This all seems like a bad idea

look I know it'd be easy to just let it go now that we're on the other side of it but guess what that's exactly how this charade has gone on for so long we simply cannot let them continue getting away with this

Turns out the default SSH QoS/DSCP setting puts you in a traffic class that NTT FLET'S IPoE treats as priority, but limited to 10mbps!
