The NHS has problems because since the 1980s it has been slowly privatised.

Margaret Thatcher outsourced catering, cleaning and many other services

Labour and the Conservatives PFI schemes forced them to sell hospitals and rent them back.

It costs of tens of billions a year.

Reform UK want to take public spending down to 35% of GDP — that’s a £275 billion cut, the equivalent of shutting down the NHS.

The Green Party knows the only way to rebuild our communities is by investing in our public services, not running them down and flogging them off to the private sector.

In fact... we've already passed 105,000 members.

Five corporations control 90% of the US media market.

Airlines merged from 12 major carriers in 1980 to 4 today.

Four giants control 80% of meat processing.

A handful of companies control the pharmaceutical industry.

The evidence of corporate concentration is everywhere.

Refugese aren't the reason we're struggling to pay our bills. Refugees aren't the reason prices have shot up. Refugees aren't the reason your grandma is freezing. Blame the companies (who raised your bills for more profits) for that not innocent asylum seekers.

immigration isn’t to blame for housing shortages
Could someone smarter than me explain how the Greens reconcile their 'come one, come all' immigration policy with their 'build absolutely nothing anywhere near anything' housing policy?

Why all the hate towards immigrants? They're not the problem, uncontroled capitalism is.

Hey British media,
It’s no surprise that if you give Farage the run of the place, he’ll start winning.
Time to do your actual jobs and start interrogating him on his Brexit shitshow, his funding, his Trumpiness, his idiotic manifesto, his real plans for the NHS… instead of drumrolling him into No.10

When we put our minds to something (like the rescue of British Steel) it is never impossible to pull it off. As usual bold plans from @UKLabour and more side stepping and false compassion from the Conservatives and Reform UK.

The Torries: STEPPING ASIDE.
Reform: STEPPING ASIDE.
British steel put at risk.
Labour: Swooping in and stepping not just in, but forward.
Aren't you glad we elected @UKLabour so they were able to do the right thing, not just in this situation, but in many others as well.

Would the Tories or Reform have conveened a Saturday sit in to save British Steel? The fact that we have to ask says a lot about the commitment of those 2 parties to Britain. Or lack there of. #BritishSteel.

British steel should never have been privatised. This is what happens when you surrender key industry to foreign private interests. Key industries should be nationalised, owned by us. For us.

Vital we preserve the future of UK steel and protect jobs.
