Then plan a movement to vote him out and vote someone who gives a damn about his or her constituents
I am so sick of begging my senators to give a fuck about regular people and getting some form email back from one and nothing at all from the other.

Do NOT assume that senators are done for the night. They and their staff regularly work into the wee hours negotiating the schedule of the official activities. Don't be afraid to keep calling until no one is picking up. Then switch to staff emails.

No cloture on the DOGE funding bill.

🚨 Everyone needs to call their Dem Senator right now. They are starting to cave.

Tell them:
1. Vote NO on Cloture
AND
2. Vote NO on the Republican spending bill.

Don’t let them pivot to reconciliation. GOP doesn’t need Dem votes on that and they know it.

TODAY is the showdown.

CALL YOUR SENATORS NOW: Tell them to vote NO on the continuing resolution today. www.washingtonpost.com/politics/202...
Democrats divided on whether to shut down government or vote with GOP
Trump needs Senate Democrats’ votes, but they are still weighing whether to use this rare point of leverage and risk taking blame for a shutdown.

I mean, if they've mortgaged themselves by borrowing against their paper wealth, and that paper wealth drops precipitously via boycotts such that they are underwater on their loans, then you can definitely hurt them. There's a reason why a certain fashy billionaire is panicking right about now.
Another thought about boycott is that a billionaire makes so much money off of the money they already have, that it's very hard to impact that. Sure, a boycott can cost them money, which they make back doing absolutely nothing.

Yo @durbin.senate.gov, no one is picking up your Senate phone and you don’t even have a voicemail. Vote no on cloture and the spending bill or I will do whatever it takes to make sure the next Senator from Illinois has basic constituent services set up during business hours.

What’s the end game of all of these chaos? Create enough discord that people lose sight of the real reason, which is to pave the way to anarchy and lead to ultimate goal of dictatorship???

Good for you for standing up and making your voice heard.
Today’s show was my last at CNN. My closing message: It’s never a good time to bow down to a tyrant… don’t give in to the lies. Don’t give in to fear. Hold on to the truth… and hope.

Can anyone explain to me what the function of the Democratic Party is today and how it is serving that function?

Are they still around? If so, is there any evidence of that?
