I've seen people say this will be the end of the internet, but I've also seen people say that about Net Neutrality and Article 13. I think the internet may continue to live on as usual despite repercussions. It'll just be more annoying to use (that's a given considering these days)
Y'know this whole thing about the surveillance shit reminds me of when everyone (myself included) was freaking out about Net Neutrality and Article 13

I think TV has always been like that. Back in 1982, "Police Squad!" was cancelled because the network execs said that viewers actually had to WATCH the series to get the jokes.

The industry has been through this back in the 80's when toy driven shows were the norm or even in the 70's when every show was trying to ape off Scooby-Doo. It will take time for job security and demand for original projects to come back. We just don't know what will be the thing to kick it off.

The way some people react to Family Guy makes it seem like Peter Griffin came and k*lled their parents right in front of them, which is super weird.
The show definitely deserves a lot of criticism, but some of y'all take it way too far, IMO.
