I've known what a POS Trump is long before he ran for office & can't believe anyone could've possibly thought it'd a good idea to let him win again, either by voting for him, voting for a 3rd party, or not voting.

They have the trifecta & they refused to work with Democrats on the CR, so I'm not sure what you think they could've done.
They had 2 bad choices:

If he was going to run in a red district & could add a seat to the Democratic caucus, it'd be 1 thing, but there's not a chance in hell that a Republican can win the district that Nadler just won with 80%+ of the vote in the past 2 elections since the new CD map was drawn in 2022.

To win in 2028, will take a coalition of Dems, moderate GOP, Independents, ex-MAGA, NeverTrumpers… Basically all Americans who want democracy & freedom. A purity test isn’t going to cut it.
We don't need a Republican with a D by their name when ANY liberal-moderate Democrat could win D+60 NY-12.
MAYBE if he was running in a red district, it'd be worth nominating him, but aside from opposing Trump, which plenty of conservatives/center-right moderates already do, we can easily do better.
