There’s good books where you can’t stop reading, and good books where you just want to take your time and savor the story. Sometimes I want to rush through my books but at the end of the day I want to make sure I enjoy it my way

I’m not done with Onyx Storm yet but one thing that stuck out to me during Rebecca Yarros’ panel was how she felt a lot more confident writing this book. It really shows and I’m enjoying it more than I did Iron Flame

Finished my Fourth Wing reread. Its flaws are so much more glaringly painful on a reread. I don’t think I’ll finish Iron Flame before Onyx Storm but I do want to try avoiding the internet as much as possible tomorrow so who knows how far I’ll get 🤷🏻♀️

Last I checked when other countries banned social media, we called it an affront to democracy and personal freedoms. We also called their leaders fascists and tyrants.
