yeah I mean it’s genuinely sad that the “reasonable old school” Republican (who Dems eagerly and unanimously voted to confirm) is out here doing pressers blatantly geeked out coke and it’s not subtle

This is gaslighting. OpenAI and Anthropic are selling business software by conning people into paying them service contracts to work out how to make their software work. Also apparently you can’t “solve billion dollar problems” with AI now? Good stuff

Lmaoooo not the easy button. This isn't fucking Staples 🤣🤣🤣
I don’t know how anyone can still talk about “the AI revolution” with a straight face. Reuters story about a railroad company that has sunk $300,000 into “developing AI products” and appears to have made…a chatbot that doesn’t work?

one of the core things liberals need to stop doing is acting like our positions are some kind of aberration. instead, let us just do as the right does - operating from a position of strength that yes, our positions are better, superior and more popular.
Everything Ronald Reagan did and wanted had to be treated as baseline political reality forever and ever, and everything that Democrats and liberals wanted to do they themselves treated like weird things we were unfairly imposing on Heartland Conservatives and at best had to beg them to accept it.

If people who attended Epstein-funded Billionaires' Dinners worried they were too scandalous to be public, that's exactly why a NYT columnist attending one had to disclose that fact when he wrote a column claiming the Epstein files - which included photos of that very dinner - were no big deal. 4/
In 2011, Jeffrey Epstein Was A Known Sex Offender. Jeff Bezos, Elon Musk, And Sergey Brin Shared A Meal With Him Anyway.
After pleading guilty to charges of soliciting prostitution from an underage girl, Jeffrey Epstein spent part of 2011 reintroducing himself to elite society. A March 2011 dinner with the most powerful...

I bet you would remember if it was FUCKING JEFFREY EPSTEIN. And you were writing a piece about how everyone should stop talking about people who associated with FUCKING JEFFREY EPSTEIN. After he was convicted of sexual assault mind you-AFTER THAT.

David Brooks, who wrote in the NYT last month, "The Epstein Story? Count Me Out" is... in the latest Epstein photo dump published by @oversightdemocrats.house.gov.

He should absolutely be fired by NYT for this. Major conflict of interest that he didn't disclose.

@normative.bsky.social thinks attending that dinner was no big deal, but the PEOPLE WHO ATTENDED DID. The restaurant manager was told to delete the guest list. The sponsor scrubbed Epstein off his webpage. The guests tried to delete mention of their attendance. They wanted the public to not know. 3/
Adding: Yahoo Finance also reported in 2019 that Epstein was at the 2011 Billionaire's Dinner - and that his dinner pals had scrubbed mention of him from websites. The Epstein class were still glad to dine with a child sex predator, just tried to keep it from the public. h/t @lippard.bsky.social. 9/

Would respond to this post defending David Brooks but Sanchez has turned off replies. To repeat: the issue is that Brooks was part of a tiny, exclusive, secretive "Billionaires' Dinner" sponsored by Epstein, then wrote a op-ed dismissing the idea of an "Epstein class" without disclosing that tie. 1/
I feel like I’m taking crazy pills. No newspaper on the planet would consider “attended the same dinner event 15 years ago” as a “conflict” requiring disclosure. I could not even recall the names of 99% of the people who were at all the conferences & dinners I’ve been to over that timespan.

Trump just endorsed a post calling for the arrests of Chris Wray and Merrick Garland.

There's almost no media coverage of the sitting president supporting the arrest of a former FBI director and former Attorney General.

So the guy himself is saying they arent really even seeing productivity gains? He said they are just using AI because they are afraid of being left behind. He is inviting this public scorn by repeating techbro talking points for no benefit at all. The mind of a CEO is fascinating.
If I had known the two paragraphs about genAI in my article today would be so controversial, I would have expanded them a bit! Here's a rough transcript of the relevant portion of my interview with Swen Vincke, so everyone has all the context. (Full article here: www.bloomberg.com/news/newslet...)
