This is just not a useful approach because young men do not have firm policy or political beliefs. What they have, instead, is an extremely powerful, highly fluid set of SOCIAL EXPECTATIONS, that arise out of their age, cliqueishness, and very distinct social universe.
I think a really underrated idea for Democrats would be to to try:
(a) Study public opinion accurately
(b) Adopt views, especially on social and moral values issues that align with public opinion
Or they can try this.
