It is embarrassing to be an US citizen today. What a freak show at the White House!

A child has died in Texas from measles. Measles is a preventable disease with low-cost measures. Deaths should not be occurring. Vaccines work!

Someone tell me, please, if 47 has done one single act in the past 2 weeks that hasn’t been questioned as violating the Constitution or absolutely insane.

Reminder: They're trying to demoralize you, and they're doing a great job of it. Part of resisting is making time for joy despite the attempts to make you feel this is not the time for it. Love your people. Dig the art that speaks to you. Go to the places where life flows into you. You deserve joy.

These people who get *furious* at bishops telling Trump to do as Jesus asked and show mercy, and who want to humiliate and punish the poor, have to wear enormous crosses around their necks, because how else would anyone guess they are "Christian"?

Don’t you miss the days when we all thought George W. Bush was so evil because his primary goal was to line the pockets of his oil buddies and defense contractors. Those were the good ole days.

If you voted for a convicted felon over a woman of color, racism might not be your only problem.

I am part of the Colorado crowd that still calls it Mile High Stadium. It may take us a while before we call anything the Gulf of America.

Donald Trump ran for office to avoid punishment for his crimes, and it worked. The fact still remains that he is a 34 times convicted felon.

Lost in the many editorials about RFK Jr. is the fact that no matter which of his beliefs or what he says about them, he has spent an entire lifetime denying straightforward facts. He does not actually want better data or more rigorous study, he simply wants his priors to be correct and they are not
During a 2019 measles outbreak in Samoa, where many children died, RFK Jr wrote a letter to the prime minister cautioning AGAINST vaccination using the bizarre lie that it could make the epidemic worse.

Animal control came and released the wild barred owl outside.

It amazes me that we have to spend so much energy convincing people that polio is bad and everyone should do all they can (vaccines) to prevent catching it. Humans are strange species.
