Our 4X game prototype is set to launch next week!
Over the weekend, we ran playtests to refine the tutorial, identifying key pain points. Based on the feedback, I’ve made major improvements, including expanding the research tutorial into this 4-step process.

btw you can bake lowres closest interpolation maps straight from polyhaven PBRs for quick and dirty pixelart textures, kinda goated for indiegame assets entirely in blender

I'm strongly considering pivoting from a #pixelart focus to a #lowpoly 3d look. I guess I would still need to learn pixel art for the texturing, anyway. I'll be using #Blender or maybe #Blockbench.
Does anyone have any advice about getting started with low poly 3d? Any recommended tutorials, maybe?

Daily reminder that the underlying purpose of AI is to allow wealth to access skill while removing from the skilled the ability to access wealth.
Anyway, AI has already stolen friends’ work, and is going to put other people out of work.

I did it, I uninstalled Twitter. It's become a locus of soul-sucking negative energy, fear, pain, and time wasting doom scrolling. No more.
I'm engaging only with positive, creative energy as much as possible, and so far this is a much better place for that.

First time I saw one I was driving with my wife. I pointed it out to her and she said "no way they're real? I thought it was just like a joke or something" and she just about fell out of the car from laughing so hard 🤣🤣🤣
